Artist Talks Mutek_Montreal
Since 2015 siete|media has collaborated with MUTEK Montreal, the Consulate General of Mexico in Montreal and the Cultural Institute of Mexico, organizing a dialogue between the Mexican artists invited to the festival and the Canadian and Latin community interested in contemporary artistic expressions in Mexico.

The main idea of this series of conversations was to offer a space to Mexican artists who travel to perform at Canada's main digital creativity festival. During these talks, the artists provided insight into their influences and the social, political and cultural context that shapes Mexico’s electronic music scene. Through this, the audience gained a deeper understanding of the Mexican artistic quality showcased at Espacio México, a renowned platform in Montreal for over a decade.

In 2017, Mexico was one of the countries invited to the event called INTER_CONNECT MX in the 18th edition of the MUTEK festival. We collaborated closely on the design of the program and made this video that shows the spirit of the festival and the artistic strength of Mexican musicians in Montreal.
